In January, The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) named five grower and retailer pairs recognized for protecting the environment, boosting profitability and benefiting society through nutrient management based on the 4R’s (using the right nutrient source at the right rate, the right time and in the right place). On February 28 – March 2, TFI will host these individuals in the booth highlighting 4R Nutrient Stewardship at the Commodity Classic in Kissimmee, Florida. While in the booth they will discuss their use of the 4Rs and the impacts of the 4Rs on their cropping systems. Additionally, they will be honored by TFI for their efforts at the 2013 4R Advocate Banquet on Thursday, February 28th at Sea World.
