The 2018 4R Advocates are heading to California! Attendees at this year’s Commodity Classic in Anaheim, California, will have the opportunity to meet the 4R Advocates and hear how they are implementing the 4Rs on their farm. Tuesday, February 27th

  • 1:00-2:00 pm – Sodbuster Farms (Erica & Jake Lorentz) and John Peters, Oregon
  • 2:30-3:30 pm – Chuck & Darin Dunlop and Jason Sutterby, Kansas

Wednesday, February 28th

  • 12:00-1:00 pm – Glenn & Mark Beck and Rob Watson, Florida
  • 1:30-2:30 pm – Maria Cox and Kyle Lake, Illinois
  • 3:00-4:00 pm – Jeff, C.J. & Greg Durand and Earl Garber, Louisiana

In addition to the trade show, several past Advocates and staff from The Fertilizer Institute will present two learning sessions during the Classic. Attendees will hear from farmers, consultants, and policy speakers covering how 4R Nutrient Stewardship and conservation practices are helping them meet their economic, environmental, and social goals on their farms and how to communicate these benefits to legislators and elected officials. Additionally, TFI will partner with the American Society of Agronomy and the International Certified Crop Adviser Program on a session focused on the 4Rs and conservation.
