AGVISE Laboratories

AGVISE Laboratories is an agricultural testing laboratory that has served customers in the United States and Canada since 1976. AGVISE offers a complete line of analytical services for soil, plant tissue, fertilizer, seed, feed, water, manure, and soybean cyst nematode. AGVISE is enabled to deliver both non-GLP and GLP certified analyses. Our staff of experienced soil scientists and agronomists also provides technical support and informational programming on soil fertility and plant nutrition to farmers and agronomists throughout the upper Midwest, northern Great Plains, and Canadian Prairies. AGVISE Laboratories has two locations: Northwood, ND and Benson, MN.

As a provider of soil and plant analysis services that are largely utilized for nutrient management, AGVISE Laboratories believes that proper nutrient stewardship is an integral component of our mission. Through our analytical services and technical support, AGVISE strives to assist farmers, agronomists, and agribusinesses in their efforts to optimize their agricultural production and profitability while managing their soil and water resources in an economically and environmentally conscious manner. The 4Rs provide a framework for disseminating and implementing best management practices for nutrient use and efficacy in crop production. 4R Nutrient Stewardship encapsulates our goal to help agricultural producers and industry stakeholders use the right source, right rate, right time, and right place when applying nutrients in crop production systems. Through deliberate use of 4R practices, we believe appropriate nutrient use can reduce negative externalities in modern agricultural systems to achieve the economic, social, and environmental benefits required of sustainable agricultural systems in the 21^st Century and beyond.
