CALAMCO is a California based cooperative made up of approximately 1200 grower-members, fertilizer retailers, and our industry partner, the J.R. Simplot  Company. Since its inception in 1957, CALAMCO shareholders have enjoyed the benefits their stock has entitled them. CALAMCO owns and operates an anhydrous ammonia and UAN32 terminal in California, and provides shareholder coverage on an expansive array of nitrogen-based products.

We support the 4R message and education program concept and believe that unifying the message as an industry is vital to the future of agriculture.

CALAMCO markets anhydrous ammonia, aqua ammonia and AN20 (ammonium nitrate solution) to retailers throughout California, and provide shareholder coverage to growers and a wide array of nitrogen products which are manufactured by our industry partner, the J.R. Simplot Company, utilizing our ammonia.
