NLM’s New Leader brand of broadcast spreaders are used to spread fertilizer, lime, compost and micronutrients for utilization by a variety of crops including corn, soybeans, wheat, canola, potatoes and cotton. For example, New Leader’s G5 technology utilizes 16 section swath width control, dynamically and simultaneously adjusting the spinner assembly left/right and fore/aft to give the operator a highly responsive and reliable method to apply the right amount of nutrients in the right place. This gives increased accuracy for point rows, when finishing a field with less than a full swath, and running half width swaths — all equating to less overlap, and increased precision.
